Petroleum mud vibrating screens are classified by process into three main types: frame type, flat type, and wave type.
Frame-type petroleum mud vibrating screen: a commonly used petroleum vibrating screen mainly composed of a steel frame and 2 to 3 tightly bonded layers on the frame. The stainless steel frame is welded from high-strength square steel tubes or flat steel and includes multiple reinforcing ribs. The mesh cloth can be combined with the frame through a metal backing plate or directly bonded to the frame. Each screen is equipped with a special rubber plug to repair mesh damage. Our factory can manufacture frame screens of various specifications and sizes according to different customer requirements.
Flat-type petroleum mud vibrating screen: currently the most commonly used petroleum vibrating screen, widely applicable in drilling operations under different conditions. This product is usually composed of 2 to 3 layers of stainless steel mesh bonded onto a perforated metal backing plate. Additionally, the screen comes with special rubber plugs to repair mesh damage, effectively saving time and reducing production costs. Our factory has rich production experience and mature technology, and can manufacture various specifications and sizes of edged flat screens according to different customer needs.
Wave-type petroleum mud vibrating screen: the mesh surface has a unique wave shape, and the installation method can be either edged or a wedge-type clamping device of a steel frame screen. The effective filtration area of the wave screen can reach 125% to 150% of the same specification flat screen, significantly increasing processing capacity.
Edged soft (composite mesh) vibrating screen has a structure similar to the flat panel screen, usually composed of only 2 or 3 layers of stainless steel mesh tightly bonded together without a metal backing plate. The soft mesh has a larger effective filtration area than the flat mesh and is lower in price, but its lifespan is relatively shorter. Different screens need to be selected according to specific drilling operation conditions.
